It’s easy to start fundraising with Tortuga Coffee!
Simply download, fill out, sign and send the applicationto tell us about your organization OR send us an email at: applications@tortugacoffee.com to request an application or other information.
There are no set-up fees to start your fundraiser with Tortuga Coffee.
How much does our group earn for each item we sell?
Your group earns $4 for each bag of coffee sold, $4 for each hand-crafted handbag sold and $2 for each bag of cocoa powder sold. (Fundraising commissions are NOT paid on Bulk Orders.)

Tortuga Coffee flyer customized for your organization, Tortuga Coffee order forms or Tortuga Coffee fact sheet with information about our coffee and the EcoTeach Foundation.
Your organization will be included on our website immediately upon application approval and will receive quarterly payment checks for each eligible item sold by your group during that period. (Groups must earn at least $50 for a quarterly pay-out.)
Our group wants to purchase the coffee in bulk and sell in person. Is there a cost savings?
YES! Several of our groups enjoy selling the coffee in person and like the cost savings. To help defray upfront costs, we deduct the $4 fundraising commission from the cost of each bag of coffee and offer a discounted shipping fee with each bulk order. You sell the coffee in person and keep the difference. This option is now available on-line on our ordering page. Please note: Fundraising commissions do NOT apply to Bulk Orders. Can individuals within a group get credit for sales?
YES! We now have the ability to enter each member of your group into the pull down menu so that individual sales can more easily be tracked. Simply send us the names to be entered with your application.
We’re a little startled at the shipping costs.
So are we. Shipping costs are per UPS ground or USPS. These costs are passed directly onto the customer. We’ve been researching ways around this cost and have identified several ways to lower it:
The highest cost per bag for shipping anywhere is if you only order one bag. Once you pass the 3 bag line, the costs per bag for shipping start lowering quickly. In other words, customers who order at least 3 bags at a time lower their per bag shipping costs – encourage them to partner up or combine orders.
Arrange to have the order shipped to an office or shop. UPS upcharges to ship to a residence.
USPS offers lower rates for smaller shipments (1-3 bags.) Be sure to check out UPS & USPS rates before making your final selection during checkout.
We offer a reduced shipping fee for all bulk orders.
